Role: Class 1 Driver
I have worked at DHL Tradeteam for almost 3 years. I joined as a mate and was given the opportunity to becomes a Class 1 Driver. I attended College for a short period but then went straight into work as it wasn’t for me.
Having found the role through job searching and through friends who worked at Tradeteam, I knew that there were opportunities to grow and improve my skills. I also found that the work life balance was very good and would suit my lifestyle.
The best thing about my role is that I have been able to meet new people and work with many different personalities in a healthy working environment. This has, in turn, helped me to grow as a person.
My career highlight has been passing my Class 1 Driving which was a great opportunity for me and was supported by colleagues and Management to allow me to be able to achieve this.
